ETOILE IVO PANT

One of my favorite new fall purchases' is my Isabel Marant Etoile pants.

They make your legs and butt look really good! I plan on buying these in pink and red!Well maybe just red...

 

This is a  dark teal blue and acts, really, as a jean would. It seemed to match perfectly with last year's J Crew schoolboy velvet blazer.
 I think a bright shoe like these from J Crew would look sooo much better with this than the black ones I'm wearing and hope to own this shoe someday.

These are a french 38 and a bit big on me and will probably get bigger as I wear them but the 36 was a bit snug so I went with bigger.

 

I was just messing around with them to see what I could pare them with.

A chunky sweater and beatle boots?

J CREW Stadium-cloth mod coat

 My inspiration French Vouge!

 I bought this J Crew mod coat when they ran a promotion on sale items.

This is a size 2 and I am comfortable wearing a bulky sweater under it. But if you need to take it off in a hurry it ain't going to happen. It's a bit difficult to button and unbutton.

 Such a classic and well made coat. Then most J Crew coats are.

I tried it out with some other fall purchases. My new Isabel Marant Etoile pants and men's Zara chunky fisherman sweater. I also love my kooky snake mod beatle boot by sam edelman.

I'm experimenting with printed jeans and pants right now. I love them but they are really trendy and I don't want to spend too much of my budget on them. I've found some really good ones at Target recently. These are a nice leopard print and looks more expensive when paired with a nice blazer.

This blazer is one of my fall splurges. It will last me alot longer than the pants.

 

 These can work many ways and are quite versatile.

Geraldine Saglio is another one of the Emmanuelle Alt clones that I love. It must be a prerequisite to be 6ft tall and 100 pounds to work with or stand next too Alt. Anyway even though these photos were taken years ago I still swoon over them. My look is a far cry from Geraldine's but good enough for dumb Oregon.

I once again shopped my closet for this inspired look.

CHILDS PLAY

 I have proclaimed my love for Emmanuelle Alt's style before but now I am in love with her daughters style. Which probably has more to do with the fact that she has her own built in stylist. If it were up to the little girl, given the choice, would she pick Burberry or sweats with princesses on them? We'll never know, nor do I care.So I'll start with baby steps and work my way up to her mothers style.

I'll take inspiration where I can get it.

I'M BACK...MAYBE

This is the lamest blog. I took a year off and didn't know if I would return. I will try this time to post with better quality and not quantity.We'll see if it sticks.

Lets start with our annual pilgrimage to Las Vegas.

 4 hours earlier.... fresh and sober.

 Had dinner on the strip at Paris hotel.

 We had the most amazing view of the Bellaigo hotel fountain.

 The next day, thank God for Rock star!

 Went to see Gold and Silver pawn shop from the TV show Pawn Stars.

We then made the mistake we could walk back to the strip from the pawn shop in 2,000degree heat instead of taking a cab. It was a lot farther than we thought.

 But we got to see every Vegas chapel you could think of.

 The drive through chapel was my favorite.

 After a long and hot walk we needed a drink!

 

 Two different shoe options. Above studded?

 Or red stilettos.

 Did some gambling. It went well.

 Visited the gardens at the Bellaigo hotel.

Ok, thats enough fun for one year!
