My big birthday present to me(beside the Nanette Lepore blouse) was this amazing linen tux"dress" by
CP Shades and a pair of "they're so ugly I Love them" clogs by Swedish Hasbeens. This is what the "dress", as they are calling it, was supposed to look like(see above pic). But on me it seemed a bit short and has two deep, deep side slits! I guess I could wear it as a dress like they show on the Calypso St Barth's web site but it will take some searching for the right slip.

So I paired it with jeans and the Hasbeens clogs.

I know, I know, I need another new white shirt like I need a whole in my head, but in my defence it was supposed to be a dress! The side slits did prove to give it a different spin(on the white shirt) by tying one side in a knot. Hmmm, this shirt/dress is turing out to be a pretty good and versatile mistake...All in all I decided to keep it because I am obsessed with linen and white shirts and they are always a safe investment. This one has a wonderful rumpled weathered feel.

I have a feeling you will be seeing more of this Swedish company. SJP already has been seen wearing a couple of their shoes around NY.
