J CREW FALL 2011 PICKS

I just love to see what Jenna Lyons wears. She has such simple but chic style I wish we got to see what she wears every day! I am so inspired by her and Melissa . I want this coat she is wearing! It gives her basic white shirt and jeans uniform a total punch! And I love that she's in her 40's and looks soo much cooler than most women in their teens or 20's.

Arm candy indeed! I love this bag! I can't resist a leopard print. This is different than anything I own so its at the top of my list.

This is my favorite look. I wish I could own this but I just know this is probably going to be one of those cashmere pop overs we saw last year for over a 1,000.00 bucks! And I have no where to wear those pants. Although next year I can get a part time job because both my children are going to be in school all day so ya never know...Lord knows I need to get out and talk to grown-ups for a few hours!

Love the leopard coat and a pastel paired with fall colors is a nice mix.

RANDOM INSPIRATION

Here are some random thoughts...

My new ebay conquest is vintage dark blue rhinestone necklaces. I still love all of my clear ones but for this fall or in the evening with black it would give a nice bit of sparkly color.

I wanted to wear heels, like my Coach wedges but it is still too cold and too much for the dorky starbucks around the corner.

I have been in total lust for this Iro sequin jacket and still waiting for it to go on sale! It's 600.00 and I just can't stomach that for a jacket I'll get wear once a year.

BOHEMIAN PRINCESS

I love Kate Hudson's Bohemian style. She proves that trends may come and go but chic hippies are always in style, will at least in my book they are. Her mix of boho and boyish are so wearable.

She continued to wear bell jeans in a sea of skinnies!

I need to make a slip to go under this as it is very sheer.

I would wear this to sushi and a movie.

Here it is with the sleeves tucked in and a belt to hold it up. It's one size fits all so it's

a little bit big in the hips.

with my Balenciaga jacket and no belt so it hangs low.

will have to add a tie in the back to cinch it tighter.

I love this dress it makes ME feel like a bohemian princess! I want to

wear a daisy crown and get married on a hill top in this!

TEE TIME

I stocked up on some J Crew tees when they had the 30% off sale promotion and they came today. I just can't resist a stripe tee especially on sale.

a nice change. I like its slouchy shape.

I really wanted a Etoile by Isabel Marant tee that looked and felt similar to this but it
was 130.00 and that's just too much for a t-shirt. I think this works as look for less.

PINK ARRIVALS

Well the Kate Spade spring line finally arrived! The pink is sooo much more hot pink than in these pictures. Ok, I know the Louis Vuitton charm doesn't really go, but I do think it would look good with some sort of charm.

Trying out my new J Brand shiny jeans.I have always wanted leather jeggings but I don't think I would have enough opportunities to wear them to justify the cost of them . These look like leather but are more casual and not hundreds of dollars. I also got them on sale!

THANK GOD FOR EBAY!

I decided to show off some of my favorite ebay finds I have collected. All of these blazers I have wanted when they came out but just didn't buy them for one reason or another and have regretted it ever since. So I search ebay for a second chance.

This first one was the hardest to find but so worth it. It is the J Crew wool Oxford jacket from 2007 fall catalog. One of the best catalogs ever I might add. I soo regret not buying more from it. It took months of waiting for this to come up for auction.

I just love it and it is now treated like a museum piece.

the second is also from 2007-08 catalogs its the Lexington jacket. I remember trying this on in the store and not buying it. Stupid! I am on the hunt for this in the white and yellow color combo. This jacket is soo well made, I wish they would re-issue it.

The hand painted buttons are a real treasure and makes this look like couture.

This is an old Bebe velvet military blazer I found on ebay also. I don't know what year it's from, probably around 2006. Its greatly detailed and I wear it all the time. I never stop loving the military look.

J Crew solid Lexington blazer.

I put this jacket in again because I also got this from ebay. I remember not being bold enough to wear this color and buy it in 2007 when it was in stores. I am so happy to have found it recently and for only 54.00!
Now when I look at the J Crew catalog I try to predict what items I love but hesitate on buying because of money or lack of a place to wear them or just to fancy for my lifestyle and I think of these blazers. what will I be searching for on ebay next?
